I’ve tried multiple products. This one works the best. You do have to take quite a few pills but it’s effective.
I've been using Essential AD2 for over 3 years as a daily supplement. I take 1-2 a day regularly and do the recommended amount before, during, and after drinking. I can totally tell the difference in how I feel. When I take it daily, first thing in the morning, I notice that my stomach feels more "settled" and I don't feel as inflamed. When I take it before, during, and after drinking, I noticed that my flush clears up quickly and I don't get a raging headache and rash like I used to. I plan on taking this supplement for the rest of my life!
My boyfriend hasn’t been able to properly drink even the lightest coolers for a year and a half without getting sick immediately, so we gave this a shot in the dark. All I can say is he tried it for the first time and it worked so well. He was beyond ecstatic. I highly highly recommend even just trying them if you have issues with ALDH2 deficiency :)
Essential AD2 definitely minimizes the redness, flushing, and raised heart rate when I drink alcohol.
I’ve always had severe interactions while drinking alcohol, however despite this, social influence makes drinking almost a necessity when going out with friends. AD2 is the only thing on the market that really addresses the issue, ALDH2 deficiency. It isn’t dangerous like using an acid reducer and it makes me feel much safer on a daily basis protecting me from the toxin, Acetaldehyde. I can’t tell you guys how much I appreciate you for coming up with a product like this. Please always continue making this great product. It’s giving people like me (who even though know the health risks of drinking with ALDH2 deficiency) who still drink, a safer way to do it.

I bought this product as my burning red face was becoming a real problem whenver I had even a few sips of any alcohol. I have noticed a real improvement especially if I take it for about a week prior to drinking amd extra in the evening before drinking.
I had simply stopped drinking alcohol in any quantity whatsoever. I would get flushing, overheated, rapid heartbeat, dizziness and nausea. I have been using AD2 for about 3 1/2 weeks now and I am able to have 1 or 2 cocktails or beers without any negative reactions. I am sold. so nice to be able to do a little light social drinking of alcohol without taking a sick day after 1 beer.
AD2 really works to minimize facial flushing (redness) when I consume alcohol. It's allowed me to enjoy without looking like I've been in the sun all day.
